Happy New Year! – 2016 in Review

We would like to most sincerely thank all our EltonJohn.com visitors and Rocket Clubmembers for your support for Elton and his music during 2016.

This past year was one of outstanding performances and continued accomplishments for Elton.

Here are just some of the highlights.

Elton released his 33rd studio album, ‘Wonderful Crazy Night’, in February.

It peaked at number 6 in the UK (his 30th top 10 album in Britain) and number 8 in the US (his 17th top 10 album on Billboard). In addition, Elton made guest appearances on four albums by other artists: the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bright Light Bright Light, Frankie Miller and A Tribe Called Quest.

“Elton John’s Rocket Hour” continued on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio each week.

He recorded 50 shows plus a chat at London’s Roundhouse with Rosie Lowe, Christine, Gallant and Parker Millsap, as well as an interview with Brandon Flowers. Elton John’s Rocket Hour can be heard weekly on Beats 1 Radio.

Today we celebrate Elton’s 73rd birthday with a look at his career over the past decade!
