Elton John Celebrates his 300th Rocket Hour Radio Show

On Saturday 17 July, Elton will host his 300th Rocket Hour and to commemorate the occasion, Apple Music put together a multi-day celebration.

‘Elton John’s Rocket Hour’ has run for 6 years, 300 episodes, and is one of the longest running radio shows airing on Apple Music radio. Each week Elton plays an eclectic mix of his favourite tracks, from classics to new releases, and speaks to artists putting out the latest music.

Elton sat down with Zane Lowe to speak about the show’s journey so far and some special guests — including Andrew Watt, Arlo Parks, Chad Smith, Channel Tres, Elton’s husband David Furnish, Dua Lipa, Mike Kerr from Royal Blood, Sam Fender, SG Lewis and Rina Sawayama — joined to share what the show has meant to them.
