Elton John’s 16th studio album, Jump Up!, is best known for the track Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny), which is a tribute to the late John Lennon. It also features the ballad Blue Eyes, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as No. 8 in the UK. Recorded at Sir George Martin’s AIR Studios on the Caribbean island of Montserrat, the album reached No. 13 in the UK and No. 17 in the US.
