Elton for Australia in November

2012 concerts in Australia announced for Elton and the band

We are happy to announce that Elton John and his band will be heading to Australia for a series of concerts in November.

To kick things off, Elton will perform during the opening week of the brand new Perth Arena on Monday 12th November. The tour then heads to Australia's capital, Canberra, for a show at Canberra Stadium on Wednesday 14th November before finishing up at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Thursday 15th November – taking his record number of shows at the iconic Sydney venue to a staggering 42.

Public tickets for these concerts will go on sale on Monday, August 6, at 9AM (local time). Tickets for Perth and Canberra can be bought here, or by calling 132 849, and tickets for Sydney can be bought here, or by calling 136 100.

Rocket Members please note: we will have an allocation of Rocket Tickets for these concerts and will publish information about their sale very soon.

These exciting evenings will include a selection of classic and much-loved hits from Elton's career. For these shows, Elton's band comprises Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums, and Kim Bullard on keyboards, along with 2CELLOS and backing singers Tata Vega, Jean Witherspoon, Rose Stone and Lisa Stone.
