Can you help Billy Elliot The Musical to win the award it surely deserves? Online voting is now open for the BBC Radio 2 Olivier Audience Award, one of the top awards given at the highly prestigious Olivier Awards. The Audience Award gives members of the theatre-going public the chance to crown their favourite long-running London show, simply by voting via the official Olivier Awards website.
After a great response from dedicated Billy fans across the globe in the last couple of years, it would be wonderful if Billy Elliot could do even better in 2013. Voting closes on March 18, and the four shortlisted shows will be announced on the later date of March 26, as this year there will only be one round of voting. The Awards Ceremony takes place on April 28 at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
