Elton's 2012 tour has been nominated in the Billboard Touring Conference & Awards for the category of 'Eventful 2012 Fans' Choice Award.' Now in his 45th year of touring, and with over 3500 concerts to his name, perhaps it is high time Elton swept the boards on this award!
