 To mark the publication and the success of Elton’s new book, Love Is The Cure, EltonJohn.com today launches an exclusive contest for members of Elton’s Rocket Club. Here is your chance to win a signed copy of Elton’s inspiring book, and even a fabulous pair of shoes from his wardrobe!

The first prize is an  autographed copy of Love Is The Cure, as well as a pair of shoes from the wardrobe of Elton John. The pink Italian leather shoes in size 8 are by Miu Miu and are a casual, slip-on style. They were selected from among the many items of clothing donated by Elton and David Furnish to Out The Closet, the fund-raising pop-up shops fully stocked with Elton and David’s unwanted clothes, which raise huge amounts of money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

We also have two secondary prizes of hardback copies of Love Is The Cure, signed by Elton. This book, now a New York Times best seller, tells the moving story of Elton’s friendship with Ryan White and his family, and how Ryan’s courageous struggle with haemophilia and HIV/AIDS and his humane response to the stigma associated with his illness inspired Elton to change his life and create the Elton John AIDS Foundation. He reflects on 20 years of the Foundation's work through frontline stories from EJAF grantees around the world, and offers his insights on how compassion can be a transformative force in the fight against AIDS.
