Elton and the band play the Perth Arena tonight, the first concert on their 7-date tour of Australia. The full dates are:
November 10, Perth Arena (with special guests 2CELLOS)
November 12, Perth Arena (with special guests 2CELLOS)
November 14, Bruce Stadium, Canberra (with special guests 2CELLOS and Schmidt)
November 15, Entertainment Centre, Sydney (with special guests 2CELLOS and Schmidt)
November 16, Entertainment Centre, Sydney (Elton solo with special guests Pnau)
November 18, Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne (with special guests 2CELLOS and Schmidt)
November 20, Silverdome, Launceston (with special guests 2CELLOS)
The opening night is a very special event as Elton will be the first artist to play in the newly refurbished Perth Arena, where we are promised a night ‘under the stars’.
For these concerts, except for November 16, Elton’s band comprises Davey Johnstone (guitar, vocals), Nigel Olsson (drums, vocals), John Mahon (percussion, vocals), Kim Bullard (keyboards), Matt Bissonette (bass, vocals), Luka Sulic (cello) Stjepan Hauser (cello), and backing vocalists Lisa Banks, Rose Stone, Tata Vega and Jean Witherspoon.
