Elton and the band will play a concert in Corpus Christi, Texas, in April. Although no stranger to Texas, this will be the first time ever that Elton has played a concert in Corpus Christi. The concert will take place on April 6, 2010, 8PM at the AmericanBank Center Arena. Elton and his band will perform their 'Rocket Man - the Greatest Hits Live' concert, featuring number one chart hits and classic album tracks from throughout Elton's incredible five-decade career.

Elton's band comprises Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards. One of the most successful live acts on the road today, Elton and his band put on the kind of show you never forget: the entire audience standing, dancing and singing along with much-loved classic songs such as Your Song, Daniel, Rocket Man, Bennie and the Jets and many, many more.

General Manager of AmericanBank Center Arena said, "In just five short years in Corpus Christi, we have once again reached a milestone, bringing one of the world's greatest artists to perform at AmericanBank Center Arena. This is a time for citizens to recognize the importance of the arena and the power events such as this have on our local economy. We expect every seat in the arena will be filled the night of the concert - we are fortunate to have such a spectacular artist as Sir Elton John play our venue."

We have an allocation of Rocket tickets for this concert, and they will go on sale at 10 am CST / 11 am EST on Friday, February 19 on the Concerts & Ticket page. Please be aware that you have to be a Rocket Club member to buy these tickets and that each member can buy a maximum of two tickets. (There is more information about this below.)

Public tickets for the Elton John Corpus Christi concert will go on sale on February 20 at 10am. They are available through the venue box office, all Ticketmaster locations, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 and online at ticketmaster.com or livenation.com.

Please note that there is a limited number of tickets, and we do not guarantee availability, or inform the buyers of seat locations ahead of the concert. Rocket tickets are not transferable and cannot be resold. The only person who can collect the tickets is the named Rocket member who bought them.

To be eligible to purchase tickets on the first day of any Rocket Club sale it is recommended that you sign up to be a Rocket Member at least 24 hours before any Rocket Club Ticket sale begins. In order to purchase Rocket tickets you will need an exclusive Ticket Purchase Code, which is sent to you when you join the Rocket. If you do not receive a code within 24 hours of joining the Rocket Club please contact Customer Service immediately.
